“When will I ever use this?” is the age-old question from students struggling to grasp challenging math and science concepts in the classroom.
“Why aren’t we getting more qualified applicants for our science and technology jobs?” is a too-common refrain from Florida workforce leaders who often struggle to fill positions that require strong foundational skills in STEM – science, technology, engineering and math.
For ten years, AT&T Florida has partnered with the Consortium to connect classrooms to careers to address both these challenges through their STEM@Work initiative.
Impact by the Numbers

AT&T funds are used to provide supplies, equipment and transportation to eliminate barriers to learning beyond the classroom and make a teacher’s vision a reality.
